Language
Learning is not simply learning about grammar and pronunciation.
To
be a good language learner, you need to be an active learner. This
means
getting over the fear of making errors when you speak, participating in
your own education, and finding the learning method that works best for
you. If you are an Active Learner, language learning can be both
enjoyable
and easy to do.
When it comes to actual learning, we can choose what to study, but we can't choose what we will learn. We simply retain some information better than other information. Sometimes this is due to the situation, and a word or phrase is linked to an image or an anecdote, and sometimes it is due to pneumonic devises (word association for example), and sometimes a word just sticks with us. We want to help you find the method that works best for you,
as well
as work towards specific goals: whether open conversation, working on
presentations,
preparing for an interview, or preparing for a language proficiency
exam
such as the TOEFL or TOEIC.
Remember, even native speakers make many mistakes in language
communication
throughout their daily interactions with others, so try not be so hard
on yourself. |
